HARRISBURG, Pa. (Aug. 26, 2024) — The Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Commission on Women in the Profession (WIP) is accepting applications for the Bob and Betsy Fiebach Scholarship. The scholarship was created by PBA Past President H. Robert Fiebach and his wife, Elizabeth, through a donor-fund of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation.
The scholarship seeks to cover or defray costs for individuals to attend annual events conducted by the PBA WIP as first-time attendees.
Conference attendance allows participants to meet one another and build connections, as well as learn and discuss relevant issues and ideas.
The amount of each approved scholarship is limited to not more than $500 per requester, each fiscal year, to the extent funds remain.
An eligible applicant must be a member of both the PBA and WIP. WIP membership is free to all PBA members. Applicants can join WIP by logging into their PBA member dashboard and selecting WIP on the My Committees page. The applicant must be a first-time attendee to the WIP event for which they are applying.
