ABA Federal Free Legal Answers

The American Bar Association online program ABA Federal Free Legal Answers, which lets qualifying users ask civil legal questions to volunteer attorneys, has expanded to offer help on immigration questions. Federal Free Legal Answers, fills a critical need for legal help during the pandemic, when many lawyers cannot meet clients in person and many Americans are suffering through the recession and the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a collaboration of the ABA Commission on Immigration, the ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono & Public Service, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

The PBA is rolling out in spring 2021 a broad civil PBA Free Legal Answers but the ABA Federal Free Legal Answers is already up and running for immigration issues.
