HARRISBURG, Pa. (May 2, 2024) — Jennifer A. Galloway, chief fiduciary officer at Counsel Trust Company in York, will become the immediate past chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Young Lawyers Division (YLD) at the conclusion of the association’s Annual Meeting on May 10 in Hershey.
As YLD immediate past chair, Galloway will serve on the 2024-25 PBA Board of Governors. In addition to her role as YLD chair, she previously served as the YLD’s delegate to the PBA House of Delegates, the policymaking body of the association.
Active in the PBA, Galloway is a member of Civility in the Profession, Commission on Women in the Profession, LGBTQ+ Rights and Membership Development committees. She is also a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section.
A member of the York County Bar Association, Galloway is president-elect, chairs several committees and is a past chair of the Young Lawyers Section.
Prior to joining Counsel Trust Company, Galloway was senior counsel at Saxton & Stump, Lancaster, and was a founding partner at a family and business law firm in York County.
Galloway earned her bachelor’s degree and graduated cum laude from Elizabethtown College. She earned her Juris Doctor and graduated summa cum laude from the Duquesne University School of Law, where she was the associate comment editor for the Duquesne Law Review and a contributing member of the Business Law Journal.
