HARRISBURG (July 22, 2024) — Julian Gray, founder of Julian Gray Associates, will be presented with the 2024 Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Elder Law Section’s Jeffrey A. Marshall Excellence in Elder Law Award at the Elder Law Institute July 25 – 26, 2024.
Julian Gray is the founder and managing attorney of Julian Gray Associates. Over the past 30 years Julian and his team have assisted thousands of clients and their families navigating challenging issues in estate planning with an emphasis on disability issues, tax planning, real estate and asset protection planning.
Gray received an undergraduate degree from Penn State University and a J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law. Gray is a frequent author and lecturer and for over a decade he has co-authored a monthly column on Elder Law in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Gray has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Superlawyer and in Best Lawyers in America in the area of elder law and is a member of the Special Needs Alliance, a national network of lawyers dedicated to disability and public benefits law.
The Jeffrey A. Marshall Excellence in Elder Law Award, originally named the Excellence in Elder Law Award in 2005, recognizes an individual who has made superior professional efforts in the field of elder law, significant contributions to the elder law bar and noteworthy service to the elderly. The PBA Board of Governors voted to rename the award in June 2023 in recognition of Jeffrey A. Marshall, who was instrumental in establishing and growing the section within the PBA and who was a past Excellence in Elder Law Award recipient.
