Meetings of the House
The House of Delegates is required to meet at least two times each year. The first regular session is held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Association in May, and the second is convened during the latter part of the year. Unless otherwise ordered by the House, the times and places selected for the meetings are determined and announced by the Board of Governors and need not be at the registered office of the Association. Notification is sent by the Secretary no later than 60 days before the meeting to each delegate and to each chairman of a Section or Committee. (BL-Rule 321 (a), (b)]
Special meetings of the House may be called either by the Board of Governors or upon the written request of 10 percent of the voting delegates of the House. Notification of the time and place of a special meeting is sent by the Secretary no less than 30 days before the meeting to each delegate and to each chairman of a Section or Committee. The general nature of the business to be transacted must be stated in that notice. (BL-Rule 321 (a), (c)]
