Bar Insurance and Trust Fund

The Pennsylvania Bar Trust Fund and Pennsylvania Bar Insurance Fund, both nonprofits, are administered and controlled by trustees appointed to four-year terms by the PBA Board of Governors.

Trustees of the Insurance Fund provide a wide range of insurance plans options for PBA members and employees. They also use loss control funds and royalties to support lawyer training and education in substantive law proficiency.

Trustees of the Trust Fund use income from an investment portfolio to promote educational and charitable activities, particularly those in Pennsylvania. For example, the Trust supports the PBA’s biennial public education campaigns about important legal topics.
