HARRISBURG, Pa. (May 2, 2023) — Jennifer A. Galloway, chief fiduciary officer at Counsel Trust Company in York, will become the chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Young Lawyers Division (YLD) at the conclusion of the association’s Annual Meeting on May 5 in Philadelphia.
As YLD chair, Galloway will serve on the 2023-24 PBA Board of Governors.
Galloway is a member of the PBA Civility in the Profession Committee, Commission on Women in the Profession, Insurance Staff Attorney, Investment and Membership Development committees and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section.
She previously served as the YLD’s delegate to the PBA House of Delegates, the policymaking body of the association, and previously was a member of the PBA Disability Services and Legal Services for Exceptional Children committees and the PBA Elder Law Section.
Also active in the organized bar at the local level, Galloway chairs several committees and is a past chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the York County Bar Association. She also is a member of the Lancaster Bar Association.
Prior to joining Counsel Trust Company, Galloway was senior counsel at Saxton & Stump, Lancaster, and was a founding partner at a family and business law firm in York County.
Galloway is a cum laude graduate of Elizabethtown College, where she received a B.A. in political science and criminal justice. She graduated summa cum laude from the Duquesne University School of Law, where she was the associate comment editor for the Duquesne Law Review and a contributing member of the Business Law Journal.
