Section 612. Section Organization and Procedures; Reports.

(a) A Section shall have a chair, vice chair, secretary and such other officers, subsections and committees as its bylaws may provide. It shall have a council consisting of the officers and such other members, if any, as its bylaws may provide. Section bylaws and amendments become effective only after approval by the Board of Governors.

(b) A Section may require that Section members pay dues and may change the amount thereof, subject in either case to the approval of the Board of Governors. No Section shall undertake any activity involving the expenditure of funds not raised through the assessment of Section dues or other Section generated revenues unless first authorized by the House.

(c) Each Section shall make an annual report to the House of its activities, and shall make such special reports as the House or the Board may direct.
