Judge Damon J. Faldowski

Former Judge Damon J. Faldowski, a mediator/arbitrator with Noblemediation LLC, is serving a three-year term on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors as a zone governor

representing Fayette, Greene, Washington and Westmoreland county lawyers. 

Faldowski is a member of the PBA Nominating Committee and is a past member of the Civil Litigation Section, Judicial Administration Committee and the Workers’ Compensation Law Section.

Also active in the organized bar at the local level, Faldowski is the current chair of the Judiciary Committee and served as the 2020 president of the Washington County Bar Association. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association. Faldowski is a past president, vice president and treasurer of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Southwestern Pennsylvania. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Litigation Counsel of America along with being a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, National Association of Distinguished Counsel and the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

Faldowski was named the recipient of the 2020 Robert L. Ceisler Professionalism Award presented by the Washington County Bar Association and also received a 2009 Pro Bono Service Certificate of Appreciation. He was also named among the Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel in 2014.

Following law school, Faldowski opened the Law Office of Damon J. Faldowski in Washington, Pa. He later was a partner in the law firm of Phillips & Faldowski PC (1978 – 1990 and 1997 – 2016) and Phillips, Faldowski & McClosky (1990 – 1997), all located in Washington. Faldowski was appointed by Gov. Tom Wolf to serve as a judge on the Washington County Court of Common Pleas. He joined Noblemediation in 2018.

His community activities include currently serving as a board member for The Care Center Inc. and on the Advisory Committee of the Washington City Mission. He previously served as a board member of the World Series Tournaments from 2003 to 2010, coached TWIST softball from 1987 to 1996, and managed and coached Washington Youth Baseball from 1989 to 1998.

Faldowski earned his undergraduate degree at Washington and Jefferson College and his J.D. at South Texas College of Law in Houston.
