Colin J. O’Boyle, a shareholder at Elliott Greenleaf PC in Blue Bell, is the immediate past chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (YLD).
O’Boyle completed a one-year term as chair of the YLD and the second year of a three-year term on the PBA Board of Governors. He also is a member of a number of PBA committees and sections, including the Administrative Law Section, Civil Litigation Section, Federal Practice Committee and Finance Committee.
O’Boyle previously served on the Member Events and Engagement Task Force and completed a two-year term as the Young Lawyer Division’s delegate to the PBA House of Delegates. In addition, he previously served as a zone governor in the PBA House of Delegates representing lawyers from Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties.
At the county bar level, O’Boyle completed a three-year term on the Montgomery Bar Association’s Board of Directors and four consecutive one-year terms on its Executive Committee. He is a past chair of the association’s Young Lawyers Section and the Law Reporter Committee. He also previously served as the editor of its Law Reporter. He is currently the co-chair of the association’s Civil Rules Committee and a member of its Trial Lawyers Section. He is the vice president of the Montgomery Bar Foundation and is a foundation Fellow.
O’Boyle graduated from Villanova University School of Law, cum laude; the University of Scranton’s Special Jesuit Liberal Arts program, magna cum laude, with a dual degree in history and philosophy; and Scranton Preparatory School.
