Kim Denise ‘Deni’ Morton

Kim Denise “Deni” Morton is serving a two-year term as chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates, the association’s policymaking body. Morton is a partner in the firm of Morton & Kubacke Family Law LLC, West Chester.

Morton is also serving a three-year term on the council of the PBA Solo and Small Firm Section. She is a member of the PBA Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, Commission on Women in the Profession, Family Law Section, Non-Dues Revenue Task Force, Quality of Life/Balance Committee and Senior Lawyers Committee.

From 2015 to 2018, she served as a zone governor on the PBA Board of Governors.

Morton is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, the charitable affiliate of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. 

Morton served as the 2013 president of the Chester County Bar Association and is a past chair of the association's Family Law Section, Bench Bar Committee and Young Lawyers Division. She also served on the association's Board of Directors, Nominating Committee and Judicial Evaluation Committee.

She has written about and lectured on various family law topics for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the educational arm of the PBA, and bar associations, Inns of Court and private organizations.

Since 2011, Morton has served on the board of Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania. She is the co-leader of a neighborhood bible study group. She is a past board member of the Chester County SPCA.

She holds an undergraduate degree from West Chester University and a juris doctorate degree from Widener Law School, where she was on the Law Review and the Moot Court Honor Society.
