HARRISBURG (Feb. 24, 2017)  The Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Conference of County Bar Leaders (CCBL) recently honored Media attorney Colleen Neary with its Chief Justice John P. Flaherty Award. The award was presented during the 51st Annual Seminar of the Conference of County Bar Leaders, Feb. 23 – 25, in State College.

The Flaherty Award honors the work of an association member for supporting and promoting the projects and purposes of the CCBL and for efforts to improve the legal profession, the justice system and the community.

Neary is a former president of the Delaware County Bar Association. She has served as chair of several of the association’s committees and sections, including the Family Law Section, the Past Presidents Committee, the Solo and Small Firms Committee and the Bench Bar Conference Committee.

Neary is a member of the PBA House of Delegates representing Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties and the Council for the Family Law Section. She is past president of the CCBL and a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Neary’s exemplary efforts on behalf of the legal profession have been recognized with the Eric D. Turner, E. Wallace Chadwick, Delaware County Lawyers Club Man of the Year and the Nicholas D. Vadino Jr. Memorial awards.
