Montgomery County Lawyer Milner to Be Honored with Pennsylvania Bar Association Solo and Small Firm Section Award

HARRISBURG (April 25, 2017) — Lawyer Kenneth P. Milner will receive the fourth annual Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Solo and Small Firm Section Award during the association’s Annual Meeting Awards Luncheon on May 10 in Pittsburgh.

The award honors an individual lawyer who, or law firm that, has enhanced the professional reputations and abilities of solo and small firm attorneys in Pennsylvania.

Active in the organized bar, Milner is a member of the PBA Business Law Section, PBA Planning Committee and PBA Solo and Small Firm Section. He is the former chair and section delegate of the PBA Solo and Small Firm Section. A member of the Montgomery Bar Association, Milner was appointed the first chair of its Franchise Law Committee and has continued to serve as its chair for 25 years. Milner is also the former chair of the Montgomery County Realtor Attorney Liaison Committee.

For Milner’s exemplary legal efforts, as well as his service to the bar and the community, he is the recipient of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Henry Stuckert Miller Public Service Award in 2017 and the PBA President’s Award in 2013 and 2015.

Milner is special counsel to Kraut Harris PC in Blue Bell, concentrating his practice in franchise, business and real estate law. He is also a mediator and arbitrator of Franchise Arbitration and Mediation Services and the American Arbitration Association.

In addition, Milner is general counsel of the Montgomery County Literacy Network and the Special Education Advisory Council of Upper Dublin.

Milner received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the Boston University School of Law.
