Be Alert to Email Scams
If you receive what seems to be a fraudulent email, it should be deleted unopened, as it likely contains malicious software. In the past, PBA members have reported receiving scam emails from would-be "clients" and from others claiming to represent the Disciplinary Board or IRS. Concerned members, click here to file a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center, and read more about IRS-related "phishing" and how to report it here.
JEC Questionnaire Available for Appellate-Court Candidates
The PBA Judicial Evaluation Commission (JEC) evaluates candidates for election to fill open seats on the Pennsylvania appellate courts. For information on the JEC process of evaluating candidates for open appellate court seats in 2017, click here.
