The Commission on Women in the Profession (WIP) is accepting applications for the Bob and Betsy Fiebach Scholarship, created by PBA Past President H. Robert Fiebach and his wife, Elizabeth, through the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation. The scholarship seeks to cover or defray costs for PBA members’ first-time attendance at WIP annual events, including the WIP Fall Retreat, Nov. 7-8 in Hershey. Get more information.

Lawyers employed by IOLTA-funded civil legal services organizations have until Oct. 15 to apply for student-loan repayment assistance from the Pa. Bar Foundation/Pa. IOLTA Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP). The maximum annual salary for eligibility has increased to $90,000 for the 2026 loan year, and attorneys working at an eligible legal aid organization that sits exclusively in one of Pennsylvania’s 48 rural counties may be eligible for additional support, depending on available funding.
