2013 Minority Attorney Conference

The Pennsylvania Bar Association and its Minority Bar Committee are pleased to invite you to participate in the 25th Annual Minority Attorney Conference on March 14-15, 2013, at the Sheraton Philadelphia Hotel, 201 N. 17th St., Philadelphia. The theme of the silver anniversary conference is "A Vision for the Next 25 Years." This year's conference includes continuing legal education programs offering up to 9� CLE credits. Also, the annual A. Leon Higginbotham Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award will be bestowed, and William M. Carter Jr., Esq., dean and professor of law at the Pittsburgh School of Law, will give the keynote address.

2012 Diversity Summit

The PBA Minority Bar Committee will hold its Seventh Annual Diversity Summit, "Diversity & Inclusion: Making It Work," at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh on Oct. 26. The summit will be simulcast to sites in Mechanicsburg, Stroudsburg and Philadelphia. The keynote address will be delivered by Charisse R. Lillie, vice president, Community Investment-Comcast Corporation, and president, Comcast Foundation. The day will include a series of panel discussions on the following topics: "The Business Case for Diversity," "Diversity in the Public Sphere," "GLBT Retention" and "Hot Diversity Legal Issues."
