Endowment Fund

Bob & Betsy Fiebach Scholarship

Contribute to financially support individuals who wish attend annual events held by the Commission on Women in the Profession (“WIP”) as first-time attendees. Conference attendance allows participants to meet one another and build connections, as well as learn and discuss relevant issues and ideas.

James W. Stoudt Memorial Scholarship Fund

Named after one of the Foundation’s most devoted supporters, this fund provides scholarships to law students based upon the following criteria: academic achievement, financial need, and the potential for making a contribution to society and the legal profession either through anticipated legal field or other efforts.

Law-related Education Fund

Join the PBF and PBA in ensuring that Pennsylvania’s youth are prepared to be the future guardians of liberty and justice by making a donation of $25 or more to the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation in support of law-related education.

Patti Rose Scheimer Bednarik Memorial Scholarship Fund

Celebrate the life’s work of lawyer and animal advocate Patti Rose Scheimer Bednarik with a contribution to this fund created by Joseph T. Bednarik in honor and memory of its namesake. This scholarship goes to a law school student who pursues an interest in animal welfare as part of his/her daily activities and legal training and/or a grant to a young lawyer who pursues an interest in animal welfare as part of his/her daily activities and/or law practice.

PBA Elder Law Section Diversity Scholarship Fund

Contribute to this fund which awards a scholarship to students interested in the field of elder law.

PBA Environmental & Energy Law Section Minority Scholarship Fund

Contribute to this fund which awards scholarships to law school students who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to environmental and energy law.

PBA Wills For Heroes Fund

Designate your contribution to support the PBA’s Wills for Heroes program which provides free basic estate planning for first responders and military veterans.

Pennsylvania Bar Foundation – PA IOLTA Loan Repayment Assistance Program (“LRAP”)

Law school debt is the number one reason attorneys either fail to enter or to remain in public service careers. To help overcome this obstacle, the PA Bar Foundation and the PA IOLTA Board launched a loan repayment assistance program for attorneys employed by IOLTA-funded civil legal services organizations in September 2010. The program provides forgivable loans to help eligible public interest attorneys better manage their law school loan debt. Though funded primarily through a pro hac vice fees, the Foundation is committed to raising funds to expand the reach and scope of the program.

Pro Bono Fund

Designate your contribution to support the Foundation’s pro bono grant stream. Funding supports the Annual Pro Bono Awards, ongoing CLEs (many free for pro bono volunteers), clinics coordinated through the PBA Pro Bono Office, statewide and local legal aid and pro bono events, and internships for students of all ages interested in public interest.

Unit County Conference of County Bar Leaders (CCBL) Grant

Contribute to help the Foundation cover or defray costs for representatives of PBA Unit County Bar Associations to attend the annual CCBL. Conference attendance allows bar association leaders to meet one another, as well as learn and discuss relevant issues and ideas.

Unit County Grant Matching Program

Designate your contribution to help PA Bar Association Unit County Bar Associations and related Foundations by providing limited grants on a matching basis throughout the year, supporting programs that increase the public’s understating of the law and promote equal access to justice.
