The PBA Criminal Justice Section Scholarship Fund of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation
The PBA Criminal Justice Section Scholarship Fund, administered by the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, was established to support aspiring legal professionals with a demonstrated interest in criminal justice. Each year, the Fund may award up to nine scholarships of $500, with the option to increase individual awards to $1,000 at the discretion of the review committee.
Scholarships are granted through a nomination process open to students enrolled at any accredited law school in Pennsylvania. Eligible nominees must exhibit a clear commitment to pursuing a legal career in criminal justice, as evidenced by their academic concentration, extracurricular activities, or other relevant experiences.
Nominations must be submitted by professors, deans, or faculty advisors who are well-acquainted with the nominee and can attest to their qualifications and dedication to the field.
Nominations will be accepted until March 31. The recipient(s) will be notified and announced in May.
