Unit County "CCBL" Grant

The Unit County Conference of County Bar (“CCBL”) Grant seeks to cover or defray costs for representatives of PBA Unit County Bar Associations to attend the annual CCBL. Conference attendance allows bar association leaders to meet one another, as well as learn and discuss relevant issues and ideas. Preference will be given to those who demonstrate supporting historically under-represented racial/ethnic minorities with legal services, and those who work at solo small firms.

The PA Bar Foundation Unit County CCBL Grant distributes funds to representatives of Unit County Bar Associations to attend the annual Conference of County Bar Leaders (CCBL). An application must be completed.

Eligible representatives must be a member of a Unit County, pursuant to the PBA Bylaws Section 1003.a), which provides that "[a]ny Local Bar Association may…..adopt the Unit Plan of membership in the Association. …..Upon the payment of dues as provided in this section all of the members of the applicant Local Bar Association shown on the roster shall be Members of this Association in the respective classes of membership for which they are eligible." There are 52 Unit Counties of the PBA.

Applications must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the CCBL registration deadline. If you have any questions, contact Pennsylvania Bar Foundation at (888) 238-3036 or at [email protected].
