JUDGE MAUREEN E. LALLY-GREEN

The candidate combines extraordinary scholarship and a keen intellect with a high degree of professionalism. Her early public and private sector legal experience, followed by a distinguished teaching career and 12 year exposure to both civil and criminal cases as an appellate clerk and consultant to justices of the Supreme Court make her eminently qualified to serve as an appellate judge. She has received very favorable reviews since her appointment to the Superior Court. She demonstrates an enthusiastic passion for the law and improving the quality of justice. She exhibits an exemplary judicial temperament, including patience, courtesy and consensus-driven leadership skills. Since his appointment to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania in 1996, he has served as an able jurist who has written several noteworthy opinions and dissents and has earned a reputation for both his work ethic and for his analytical ability. He exhibits all of the qualifications of scholarship, temperament, industry and impartiality necessary to properly fulfill and satisfy the responsibilities of a judge of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. Through hard work and commitment, he has earned the opportunity to continue to serve the citizens of Pennsylvania.
