ERIE COUNTY LAWYER ELECTED TO PENNSYLVANIA BAR ASSOCIATION BOARD OF GOVERNORS

HARRISBURG (May 25, 1999) -- Christine McClure, a partner in the Erie law firm of McClure and Miller, was elected to the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors during the organization�s Annual Meeting held this month in Philadelphia.

One of 12 zone governors who serve on the PBA Board, McClure will represent Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Jefferson, McLean, Venango and Warren county lawyers. Her term will expire in 2002.

A member of the PBA House of Delegates and the Erie County Bar Association, McClure is the chairman of the Erie County Bar Foundation and a past member of the Erie County Bar Association Executive Committee. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania School Boards Association, the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Solicitors and the Estate Planning Council of Erie.

Active in the Erie community, McClure is a member of the Regional Government Opportunities Task Force and is a volunteer at Brevillier Village. She is a past member of the boards of directors for Community House for Women Inc. and Serenity Hall Inc. McClure currently serves on the board of trustees for Chatham College.

McClure is a graduate of Chatham College and Villanova University School of Law.
