PITTSBURGH LAWYER ELECTED PRESIDENT-ELECT OF THE PENNSYLVANIA BAR ASSOCIATION

HARRISBURG (May 1999) -- Marvin S. Lieber, a partner in the Pittsburgh law firm of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell and Hippel LLP, was elected president-elect of the Pennsylvania Bar Association during the organization�s Annual Meeting held this month in Philadelphia. He will become president of the organization in the year 2000.

Lieber has held numerous leadership positions in the PBA, including PBA treasurer and president of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the educational arm of the PBA. He also is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

A board of trustees member of the University of Pittsburgh and Mount Aloysius College, Lieber also sits on the boards of the Pittsburgh Opera, Jewish Healthcare Foundation and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Lieber is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He also received an OPM Certificate from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.

The Pennsylvania Bar Association is a professional organization that represents the interests of 26,000 lawyers across the commonwealth.
