BEAVER COUNTY LAWYER ELECTED TO PENNSYLVANIA BAR ASSOCIATION BOARD OF GOVERNORS

HARRISBURG (May 25, 1999) -- Charles F. Bowers Jr., a partner in the Beaver law firm of Bowers and Ross, was elected to the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors during the organization�s Annual Meeting held this month in Philadelphia.

One of 12 zone governors who serve on the PBA Board, Bowers will represent Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence and Mercer county lawyers. His term will expire in 2002.

A member of the PBA House of Delegates and a past president of the Beaver County Bar Association, Bowers is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Pennsylvania and Western Pennsylvania Associations of Trial Lawyers of America. Bowers also is a member of the Pennsylvania Solicitors Association and the National and Pennsylvania Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Bowers is a graduate of Columbia College and Columbia Law School.
