HARRISBURG (Nov. 18, 2015) - The Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors today approved a recommendation calling for "a fair, thorough and impartial review of the content of the email communications and actions that are under investigation and have been reported in the media."

"Conduct that is demeaning to women and members of diverse groups is not acceptable and interferes with their advancement in the practice of law," said PBA President William H. Pugh V.

Founded in 1895, the PBA strives to promote justice, professional excellence and respect for the law; improve public understanding of the legal system; facilitate access to legal services; and serve the 27,000 lawyers who are members of the association.
