Pennsylvania Bar Association Minority Bar Committee's Diversity Summit, 'Diversity and Inclusion: It's Everyone's Business,' is Oct. 27 in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG (Sept. 26, 2011) - Lawyers from many sectors of the legal profession will share their viewpoints during the Pennsylvania Bar Association Minority Bar Committee's sixth annual Diversity Summit, "Diversity and Inclusion: It's Everybody's Business." The summit is set for Oct 27 at the Hilton Harrisburg Hotel, downtown Harrisburg. Simulcast locations are available in Media, Pittsburgh and Stroudsburg.

Pedro Cort�s, executive vice president of Everyone Counts and former Pennsylvania Secretary of State, is providing keynote remarks.

A series of updates and reports will follow, including panel discussions on the business case for diversity, diversity hiring considerations, diversity in leadership and the interplay between the government and private sectors.

The summit will conclude with a networking reception.

Attendees can earn up to five Ethics CLE credits.

Funding support for the summit is provided by the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation.
