Villanova Law Student Named Chair of Law Student Division for Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyers Division

HARRISBURG (May 31, 2012) - Andrew J. Throckmorton of Exton, a Villanova University School of Law student, has been named chair of the Law Student Division for the Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.

The Law Student Division organizes law student members to advance the association's objectives; provides educational and professional programs at law schools; participates in community service programs; provides a forum for Pennsylvania's law school students to discuss and resolve problems facing law students; and advises the PBA on issues of importance to law students.

Throckmorton has served as a member of the PBA House of Delegates since the fall of 2011.

In addition, Throckmorton is the Villanova Student Bar Association's representative to the PBA, and he is vice president of the Villanova Law Trial Advocacy Club.

Throckmorton anticipates completion of his juris doctor degree next May. He earned an undergraduate degree in business - marketing and management from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan.
