SLOANE TO SERVE ON PENNSYLVANIA BAR ASSOCIATION BOARD OF GOVERNORS

HARRISBURG (May 30, 2006) � Leonard A. Sloane, chairman of the litigation and personal injury department of the Media law firm of Eckell Sparks Levy Auerbach Monte Rainer Sloane, will begin a three-year term on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors at the close of the organization�s annual meeting June 7 � 9 in Hershey.

One of 12 zone governors who serve on the PBA board, Sloane will represent Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery county lawyers.

Sloane serves in the PBA House of Delegates and is a past president of the Delaware County Bar Association. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Delaware and Chester County Bar associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and is a past member of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He is a past president of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

He has received numerous professional awards including the Delaware County Bar Association E. Wallace Chadwick Memorial Award for outstanding services to the legal profession in the furtherance of intra-professional development.

A Vietnam veteran, Sloane is past president of the West Goshen Lions Club and an Assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 21 in East Goshen, Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from Villanova University.
