Herbert K. Sudfeld Jr. to Serve on Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors

HARRISBURG (May 3, 2012) - Herbert K. Sudfeld Jr. of Doylestown, a partner in the Warrington office of Fox Rothschild LLP and co-chair of its Marcellus Shale Group, will begin a three-year term on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors at the close of the organization's annual meeting May 11 in Lancaster.

One of 12 zone governors who serve on the PBA board, Sudfeld will represent Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery county lawyers.

Sudfeld is a member of the PBA House of Delegates and the PBA Municipal Law and Business Law sections. He is a past president and current member of the board of directors of the Bucks County Bar Association, which honored him with its President's Award in 1997. He serves on the board of directors of the Bucks County Legal Aid Society. He also is a member of the American Bar Association.

Sudfeld is a board member for Tabor Services, a provider of foster home counseling and placement, and serves as vice president of special projects and as a board member for the Bucks County Council of the Boy Scouts of America. For more than 17 years, he has served on the board of directors of the Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Youth Organization in Doylestown, where he also spent more than 12 years as athletic director and treasurer. He is the recipient of the "Man of the Year" award from the Knights of Columbus, Bucks County chapter.

He has been an active participant for more than 30 years in the State Street Players regional amateur theatre group where he has served as president, founding board member and producer. He also served on the board of directors and as board counsel of the Dance Theatre of Pennsylvania.

Sudfeld received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University and his Juris Doctor degree from the New York Law School.
