Robert T. Datorre to Become Chair-elect of Pennsylvania Bar Assocation Young Lawyers Division

HARRISBURG (April 30, 2012) - Roberto T. Datorre of Elizabethtown, assistant counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Education in Harrisburg, will become chair-elect of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (YLD) at the conclusion of the PBA Annual Meeting May 11 in Lancaster.

Datorre has served on the executive council of the PBA YLD since 2008. He is a member of the PBA Planning Committee, the PBA Diversity Team and the executive council of the PBA Government Lawyers Committee. He is a member of the PBA Minority Bar Committee and served on its executive council. He is a member of the PBA House of Delegates, the association's policy-making body.

He also is a life fellow of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation. Datorre is a frequent lecturer and presenter for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and the Pennsylvania Office of General Counsel.

Datorre received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Florida and his juris doctor degree from the University of Miami.
