Tioga County Lawyer to Serve on Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors

HARRISBURG (April 27, 2011) - Rita G. Alexyn of Mansfield, a partner in the Wellsboro firm of Spencer Gleason Hebe and Rague P.C., will begin a three-year term on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors at the conclusion of the association's Annual Meeting May 6 in Philadelphia.

One of 12 zone governors who serve on the PBA Board, Alexyn will represent Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Tioga and Union county lawyers.

Alexyn is a member of the PBA House of Delegates and serves on the PBA Commission on Women in the Profession.

Alexyn is a member of the Tioga County Bar Association and served as its president and treasurer. She also is a member of the Lycoming County Bar Association.

Alexyn holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from Niagara University and a juris doctorate degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School.
