GROVE CITY LAWYER TO SERVE ON PENNSYLVANIA BAR ASSOCIATION BOARD OF GOVERNORS


HARRISBURG (April 13, 2005) � Grove City lawyer Brenda K. McBride will serve a three-year term on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors upon her election to the position of Zone 10 Governor during the association�s annual meeting May 4 � 6 in Pittsburgh. .

One of 12 zone governors, McBride will represent Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence and Mercer county lawyers. Her term will expire in 2008.

A longtime PBA member, McBride served as co-chair, co-vice chair and secretary of the PBA Commission on Women in the Profession. She is a member and past treasurer of the Mercer County Bar Association.

Active in her community, McBride serves as the vice-president of the Children�s Aid Society of Mercer County and is on the Advisory Council of the United Way. She is on the boards of directors of the First National Bank of Pennsylvania, George Jr. Republic and Blair Strip Steel.

McBride is a partner in the Grove City law firm of McBride and McBride P.C. She is a graduate of the University of Denver and the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan.
