Pennsylvania Army National Guard Honors PBA for Pro Bono Efforts, 2006 |
The Pennsylvania Army National Guard recently recognized the PBA for its good works in
support of service members and their families.
Lt. Cliff Morales, a lawyer who has served in Iraq and a current recruiter of lawyers
to serve as judge advocates, presented an award recognizing the PBA for "its
outstanding support in providing pro bono legal aid to the over 12,000 Pennsylvania
National Guard soldiers and airmen and their families deployed since 9/11 in the global
war on terror."
Morales said that legal services provided by PBA members have allowed "the
deployed soldiers and airmen to focus on their mission knowing that their legal needs were
met."
2005-06 PBA President Bill Carlucci accepted the award at the PBA Annual Meeting on
behalf of PBA members.
