Project: Montgomery Child Advocacy Project (MCAP) � Contact: Nancy R. Paul, Executive Director Members of the MBA and Bar Foundation joined forces to create a new nonprofit organization committed to providing counsel for children who are victims of and witnesses to abuse. Pursuant to Pennsylvania�s Guardian Ad Litem Statute, the MCAP provides advocacy for children in need of representation. Approximately 60 lawyers have been trained and have signed on to represent the children pro bono. The MBA is now in the process of raising community awareness and funds to enable the program to grow and service those children in desperate need.
