MONTGOMERY COUNTY LAWYER TO BECOME CHAIR OF THE PENNSYLVANIA BAR ASSOCIATION HOUSE OF DELEGATES

HARRISBURG (April 9, 2003) � Paul C. Troy, a partner in the Norristown law firm of Kane, Pugh, Knoell & Driscoll L.L.P., will become chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates during the organization�s Annual Meeting April 23 � 25 in Philadelphia. Troy�s two-year term as chair of the association�s policy-making body will begin at the close of the meeting.

A member of the PBA House of Delegates since 1996, Troy has served as chair of the PBA Young Lawyers Division and on the PBA Board of Governors. Troy served as chair of the PBA Midyear Meeting Committee and co-chair of the PBA Bar Leadership Institute Committee. He is vice chair of the Healthcare Law Committee and a member of various PBA committees, sections and task forces.

Troy sits on the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the continuing legal education arm of the PBA, and is a member of a variety of PBI committees. He also served as a member of the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, of which he is a Life Fellow.

A member of the board of directors of the Montgomery Bar Association, Troy is chair of its Insurance Committee and a past chair of its Young Lawyers Section. He is the current president of the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers Section.

A graduate of Lehigh University and the Dickinson School of Law, Troy�s law practice is concentrated in the areas of medical malpractice, professional liability and insurance defense.

Troy serves on the �Serve Our Neighbor� Committee of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church. He also coached girls� soccer for the Whitpain Recreation Association. He and his wife Liz reside in Blue Bell with their three children.
