�To have the respect of our peers, our judges, and the society we serve is the ultimate measure of responsible professional conduct for lawyers. We applaud Chief Justice Flaherty and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania for issuing the new Code of Civility, which will help foster greater professional courtesy in the courtroom and throughout the legal profession. The new Code reinforces principles of civility long promoted by the PBA in our own �Working Rules of Professionalism.� We will encourage our members to follow the new Code faithfully.�
