CAMBRIA COUNTY LAWYER ELECTED TO THE PENNSYLVANIA BAR ASSOCIATION BOARD OF GOVERNORS

HARRISBURG (May 20, 2004) � George Gvozdich Jr., a sole practitioner in Ebensburg, was elected to the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors during the organization�s annual meeting held May 13-15 in Hershey.

One of 12 zone governors who serve on the PBA Board, Gvozdich will represent lawyers from Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon, Indiana and Somerset counties. His term will expire in 2007.

Involved in bar association activities, Gvozdich is a member of the PBA House of Delegates and is a past president and board member of the Cambria County Bar Association. He also served as chair of the Cambria County Young Lawyers.

Gvozdich is active in his community, serving on the board of the Johnstown Industrial Development Corporation and as president-elect of Laurel Legal Services. He is a past board member of Southern Alleghenies Legal Aid.

Gvozdich is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the Penn State University Dickinson School of Law. He and his wife, Diane, reside in Johnstown with their two children.
