FORMER MONTGOMERY COUNTY JUDGE ELECTED TO THE PENNSYLVANIA BAR ASSOCIATION BOARD OF GOVERNORS

HARRISBURG (May 20, 2004) � Judge Mason Avrigian, a partner in the Blue Bell law firm of Wisler, Pearlstine, Talone, Craig, Garrity & Potash LLP and a former Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas judge, was elected to the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors during the organization�s annual meeting held May 13-15 in Hershey. Judge Avrigian will represent county bar associations on the board, serving a three year term.

Involved in bar association activities, Judge Avrigian is a member of the PBA House of Delegates and serves as co-chair of the PBA Judicial Administration and Senior Lawyers committees. He is on the board of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation and is a fellow of the Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Judge Avrigian is a past president of both the Montgomery Bar Association and the Desmond J. McTighe Chapter of the American Inns of Court. In addition, Judge Avrigian is on the board of Montgomery County Legal Aid.

Judge Avrigian received his undergraduate degree from Moravian College and graduated from the Temple University Beasley School of Law. He also received a graduate degree from the National Judicial College.
