SELINSGROVE LAWYER ELECTED TO THE PENNSYLVANIA BAR ASSOCIATION BOARD OF GOVERNORS

HARRISBURG (May 6, 2002) - Selinsgrove lawyer Marvin J. Rudnitsky was elected to the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors during the association�s annual meeting held May 1 - 3 in Hershey.

One of 12 zone governors who serve on the PBA Board, Rudnitsky will represent Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Tioga and Union county lawyers. His term will expire in 2005.

An active member of the PBA, Rudnitsky is a member of the PBA House of Delegates and serves on the Judicial Independence Committee and the Commission on Multijurisdictional Practice. In addition, Rudnitsky is on the boards of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, the charitable organization of the PBA, and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the PBA�s educational arm. Rudnitsky also is a member of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the American Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

Rudnitsky is a past president of the Selinsgrove Rotary Club and is the co-founder, director and secretary of the Selinsgrove Area Youth Foundation.

He is a partner in the law firm of Rudnitsky & Hackman and is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
