MEADVILLE LAWYER ELECTED TO THE PENNSYLVANIA BAR ASSOCIATION BOARD OF GOVERNORS

HARRISBURG (May 6, 2002) - Meadville lawyer John D. Petruso was elected to the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors during the association�s annual meeting held May 1 - 3 in Hershey.

One of 12 zone governors who serve on the PBA Board, Petruso will represent Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Jefferson, McKean, Venango and Warren county lawyers. His term will expire in 2005.

Active in the state and local bar associations, Petruso is a member of the PBA House of Delegates. He is a former president of the Crawford County Bar Association and vice president of the Northwestern Pennsylvania American Inn of Courts. He also is a member of the American Bar Association and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

Petruso is past president and campaign chair for the United Way of Western Crawford County. He also served as president of the Crawford County Historical Society and the Meadville Kiwanis Club. He is a former director of the Meadville Area Little Gridders.

Petruso is a shareholder in the Fuller Kinnunen Law Firm and is a graduate of Allegheny College and Case Western University School of Law.
