Pittsburgh Lawyer Elected 106th President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association

HARRISBURG (May 2000) -- Marvin S. Lieber, a partner in the Pittsburgh law firm of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell and Hippel LLP, was elected the 106th president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association during the organization�s Annual Meeting held this month in Hershey.

Lieber has held numerous leadership positions in the PBA, including PBA treasurer, PBA Zone 12 governor, president of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation and president of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. He also is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

A board of trustees member of the University of Pittsburgh and Mount Aloysius College, Lieber also sits on the board of overseers of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He serves on the boards of the Pittsburgh Opera and the Jewish Healthcare.

Lieber is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He received an OPM Certificate from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.
