STATE COLLEGE (March 10, 2000) -- The Pennsylvania Bar Association recognized 25 county bar associations with County Bar Recognition awards during the 34th Annual Seminar of the Conference of County Bar Leaders held Feb. 25 in State College, PA.

Honoring county bar associations that sponsor projects, which work to improve the legal profession, justice system or community, the County Bar Recognition awards are sponsored annually by the Pennsylvania Bar Association and are non-competitive in nature.

�The Pennsylvania Bar Association is pleased to honor these county bar associations for their outstanding work on the winning projects,� noted PBA President Louis N. Teti. �Through the County Bar Recognition Awards, the PBA hopes to encourage more members of the legal profession to participate in community and educational activities.�
