2013 Midyear Meetings

The Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Commission on Women in the Profession (WIP) will host its 2013 Midyear Meetings in Philadelphia, Scranton, Pittsburgh and Mechanicsburg. The 2013 meetings will take the theme of "Listening for Lawyers: Narrowing the Gap Between Your Brain and Heart."

The practice of law is intellectually rigorous, but effective communication with clients, colleagues, co-workers and everyone else in our lives demands a different skill set. In the changing legal environment, the most effective advocates are those possessing finely honed listening and relational skills. Sharon Browning, Esq., of JUST Listening will help you explore new ways of communicating, examine your own listening style and practice "JUST Listening" - non-judgmental, compassionate, ego-less communication as an act of justice.

The WIP Midyear Meetings are designed for legal professionals in all practice areas and employment sectors regardless of the number of years of legal experience. Take advantage of the opportunity to earn 2 hours of CLE credits at a reasonable cost.
