Kim Denise Morton, Zone 9 Governor

Kim Denise Morton of Morton Family Law LLC, West Chester, is the Zone 9 governor representing Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery county lawyers.

Morton is a member of the PBA House of Delegates, and the PBA Family Law, and Solo and Small Firm Practice sections.

Morton served as the 2013 president of the Chester County Bar Association (CCBA) and is a past chair of the CCBA's Family Law Section, Bench Bar Committee and Young Lawyer Division. She also served on the association's board of directors, Nominating Committee and Judicial Evaluation Committee.

She has written about and lectured on various family law topics for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and for other bar associations, Inns of Court and private organizations.

Since 2011, Morton has served on the board of Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania. She is the co-leader of a neighborhood bible study group. She is a past board member of the Chester County SPCA.

She holds an undergraduate degree from West Chester University and a juris doctorate degree from Widener University School of Law, where she was on the Law Review and the Moot Court Honor Society.
