James L. Goldsmith

Dauphin County lawyer James L. Goldsmith, president and shareholder in the Harrisburg law firm of Caldwell & Kearns P.C., is the Zone Three Governor representing Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York county lawyers.

Goldsmith is a member of the PBA House of Delegates and the PBA Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. He is a member and past treasurer of the Dauphin County Bar Association and a member of the American Bar Association. He has taught real estate transactions at the Widener University School of Law. He is a frequent lecturer to attorneys and real estate professionals. He is a co-author of the Pennsylvania Real Estate Reporter, which is the first and only indexed compilation of Pennsylvania cases devoted to real estate and related issues.

He serves on the board of the Keystone Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and on the board of directors of Goodwill Industries of Central Pennsylvania. He is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Harrisburg, past board president of the Museum of Scientific Discovery and past president of the Pennsylvania Mountaineering Association.

Goldsmith received his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Washington and Jefferson College and his Juris Doctor degree from the Temple University School of Law.
