The proof is in the picture ... why David is on the Sara Austin diet

PBA member Joseph Curcillo and PBA Pro Bono Coordinator David Trevaskis (who is pictured above with PBA President Sara A. Austin) have been inspired by the fitness (physical and mental, but they are focusing on the former here) of PBA President Austin to create The Sara Austin Diet Challenge (and Pro Bono Fundraiser) to help the PBA get healthier while also raising funds for the PBA Pro Bono Office. Here is how it works: Pick an amount of weight you want to lose during Sara’s term as PBA president (which ends May 12, 2017), multiply it by ten and send that many dollars to the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation (PBF) for the Sara Austin Diet Challenge (and Pro Bono Fundraiser). If you want to lose 20 pounds, you send off a check for $200.

On May 12, if you have lost your goal weight, you may choose to send the PBF another gift since you are now feeling so good about yourself. That is on you. If you fail to meet your goal, send the PBF $10 per pound that you failed to lose (we want to motivate you). No one is saying that the PBA is a large-bodied group, but there are only a few Saras around and there seem to be a lot of Joes and Davids. Let's make this year one where we dove into good health and supported good causes!

Make your donation ($10 per pound for your loss goal) at http://www.pabarfoundation.org/how-to-help/ways-to-contribute-to-the-pennsylvania-bar-foundation/pro-bono-fund/ and let David know you have made the gift for the Sara Austin Diet by emailing him at [email protected].
