The Pro Bono Program of Warren County was initiated at the start of 2004. Prospective clients needing legal assistance should apply through Deputy Court Administrator Martha Leathers at the Warren County Court House, 204 Fourth Avenue, Warren, Pa. 16365. Financial guidelines are the same as those used by Northwest Legal Services, and clients are expected to provide proof of income and assets. In addition, the program handles the same types of cases as Northwest Legal Services and only refers cases with which they have a conflict. Applications are available in the Judges� Chambers and can be obtained by contacting Ms. Leathers. If a client is determined to be eligible for services, an attorney will be contacted to request his/her services and outline the matter at hand. Once an attorney has been obtained, further communication will occur directly between the client and his/her attorney.
