Disaster Preparation, Avoidance and Recovery

When it comes to disaster, reaction after the fact is no substitute for planning beforehand. Foresight and planning can make the difference between your practice surviving a disaster or not. Lawyers in particular have the responsibility to take reasonable precautions to ensure that they have contingency plans that will enable them to continue to service client needs in the event of a disaster, including the lawyer's death or disability.
