Upon receipt of the appellant's brief, the Prothonotary mails a reply letter to the appellant asking whether oral argument is requested. The appeal will be listed for oral argument if the appellant requests argument in a timely fashion. If not, the appeal will be submitted on briefs unless otherwise directed by the Court.
