Prince Altee Thomas Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Trent Hargrove: (January 2014) Minority Bar Committee member and Harrisburg lawyer Trent Hargrove has been retained as PBA diversity officer. The former chief diversity officer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania joined the staff on Jan. 2. He will work with the PBA Diversity Team, senior staff and others to promote and enhance diversity participation within the PBA and in the practice of law across Pennsylvania. Read the news release.

Carlton L. Johnson: (August 2012) Minority Bar Committee member Carlton L. Johnson is the recipient of a Diversity Award from the Black Law Students Association at Temple University Beasley School of Law and the Minority Business Leadership Award from the Philadelphia Business Journal. Beverly H. Rampaul: (August 2011) The American Bar Association Section of Litigation has appointed Beverly H. Rampaul to serve as a member of the Young Lawyer Leadership Program. The ABA Section of Litigation has approximately 63,000 members and is the largest section in the ABA. Participation in the Young Lawyer Leadership Program provides opportunities to network with top trial lawyers from around the country, participate in public service projects and educational programs of a national scope and attend at least 10 leadership meetings held in various locations around the country. From numerous applicants, Beverly is one of four attorneys appointed to the Young Lawyer Leadership Program from across the United States and its territories. Beverly will hold this appointment for the next 2 years.
