Section 912. The Chair of the House. -- A Chair of the House of Delegates, chosen from the House of Delegates, shall be elected by the House at the Annual Meeting of the House in odd-numbered years by a majority vote of the voting Delegates present and voting, and shall serve for the term of two years beginning with the adjournment of the Annual Meeting of the House in the year of election.
